Amy has over 9 years of experience supporting individuals with communication differences. She received her undergraduate degree from Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), and her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI).
Amy began her career as a school based speech language pathologist, supporting students across ages in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind or Visually Impaired, and Autistic communities. It was during her time at a top Illinois high school in which she began specializing in social-cognitive therapy in an Autism Spectrum Disorder support Program. Amy supported students in the high school and transition programs for 4 years, before moving to the Bay Area to further her work in social-cognitive therapy in a private clinic setting.
